Case Manager

Remote-Learner is looking for a Case Manager to provide technical support on Moodle functionality and work with clients and our internal team to resolve various issues. Specifically we need someone living in Canada.

Job Duties:

  • Troubleshoot Moodle activities and provide insight on problems
  • Find or write directions on Moodle Administration functions
  • Coordinate work with clients and Technicians
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet client’s needs
  • Work with clients to achieve acceptable resolution given policy and procedure
  • Document bug findings with moodle.org and in our internal system

Marketing Communications Manager

Remote-Learner Inc. is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager. This role is instrumental in the design, delivery, management and evaluation of content for integrated marketing campaigns, brand messaging for specific products & services, speaking engagements, events, media relations, web marketing and advertising. This role will drive marketing communication excellence across the US and Canada.

The ideal candidate will have strong integrated marketing communications experience with a successful track record of planning, delivering and monitoring complex projects simultaneously. They will be a self-starter and someone who is keen to join an entrepreneurial environment where innovation plays a pivotal role in business development. Most importantly, the Marketing Communications Manager will ensure that Remote-Learner Inc. delivers the right message, to the right audience, in the right place and at the right time across a variety of online and offline marketing channels.

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for:

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring marketing and communication strategies, programs, and materials which support sales and business development efforts in all target market segments;
  • Writing and managing content that effectively markets Remote-Learner products & services to target audiences for campaign development, website & microsite, blog, articles, brand messaging collateral, FAQ’s, email & direct marketing, trade show exhibit properties, online social media outlets and online & offline media;
  • Executing on marketing projects within deadline and budget;
  • Developing and managing standard operating procedures for external public relations;
  • Working closely with key members of executive, product marketing, sales, marketing and sales operations teams to achieve overall department & company goals;
  • Developing strategic marketing campaigns and see through from inception to completion.  Must be able to creatively write content and deliver a finished product to be sent out for marketing purposes;
  • Supporting Demand Generation Managers with online and offline lead generation marketing initiatives that ensure the most effective targeting, offers, copy platforms and content creative to maximize inbound response;
  • Developing A/B testing and continuous analysis and improvement; tracking and reporting of all communication assets;
  • Developing and maintaining a strategy for identifying media opportunities and developing long term coverage and pitching plans;
  • Vetting and responding to incoming media requests;
  • Preparing media briefing materials and participating in executive leadership prep sessions for media interviews;
  • Developing, recommending and implementing social media strategies for social media including Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook;
  • Reviewing and proofreading marketing collateral for accuracy, adherence to style guides, brand standards, and compliance guidelines;

Requirements

  • A “do-er” that is both a strategic thinker and also gets things done by rolling up their sleeves;
  • Minimum 6 years experience in development and implementation of marketing communication programs with SAAS-  Educational technology is a plus;
  • Strong writing skills, able to quickly create content in multiple styles for print or online media, including web site, microsite, collateral, sales sheets, articles, video scripts, and press interviews;
  • Strong organizational, proofreading and editing skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Familiarity with Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, or other graphical software is helpful;
  • Past experience with PR software and basic knowledge of HTML is helpful;
  • Must be a good team player with the ability to work on own initiative, be well organized and able to work well within international and virtual teams;
  • Proven ability to develop and manage budgets;
  • Knowledge of WordPress is a plus

US Public Sector Demand Generation Manager

The Demand Generation Manager is responsible for strategic planning and implementation of integrated demand programs designed to drive engagement and pipeline of leads through multiple marketing channels across the US Public Sector Market (Federal, State and Local Government, Higher Education and K-12). This position will create marketing programs that generate pipeline, accelerate the sales cycle and build/strengthen client relationships with Remote-Learner.  The ideal candidate has strong skills in account and stage based marketing, executive level engagement programs and is able to gather and analyze data and market analytics to drive marketing sources, pipeline and revenue.

The Demand Generation Manager is responsible for:

  • Define marketing goals and objectives in order to develop a strategic demand generation plan that aligns with delivering a qualified, engaged pipeline of leads for the US Public Sector sales team;
  • Determine appropriate mix of online and offline campaign elements including email, webinars, search, social and advertising with compelling calls to action to deliver pipeline goals;
  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications to create a catalog of content and sales enablement material to support campaigns;
  • Create, lead execution of and measure an integrated multi channel demand generation plan supported by business and market intelligence and reinforced by knowledge and experience in the US Public Sector market;
  • Track program performance and effectiveness, report results and measure effective ROI;

The Remote-Learner Client Success Team is responsible for maintaining and building relationships with existing clients through regular communication and meetings.  Members of the Client Success Team should have a talent for making interactions count, working proactively in their clients’ best interests and finding new ways to better serve our clients and help those clients achieve their goals.  The Client Success Manager works in a team environment and serves as the main point of contact for client questions and needs.  The Client Success Manager also acts as the client’s primary internal advocate to address needs cross-departmentally.

  • Act as the main point of contact for all clients in your account portfolio;
